The Grand Puteri Hotel, Kuala Terengganu

I stayed at this hotel for a night before heading back to the west coast of Malaysia. It offers free parking, which is a plus, but keep valuables out of sight. The hotel is right next to a mosque and only a short walk to the express bus terminal. While the rooms were clean and the staff were nice, the overall conditions seemed a bit worn and could use some upgrades. Despite being a good budget option, the amenities are limited, and the bathroom definitely needs a refresh.

The hotel offers a central location that's convenient for exploring the city, but it is starting to show its age. The rooms are a bit small and could use some improvements in comfort and cleanliness. Although the breakfast has some redeeming qualities, the overall facilities, including the pool, need a lot of work. If you're looking for an affordable stay and don't mind a few flaws, this might be a suitable option.
